One of my all-time favourite food experiences in South Africa is at Chong Qing HotpotChong Qing Hotpot. Perched on a balcony in Johannesburg’s Chinatown, Cyrildene, it offers a delightful view of the eastern suburbs. My friend Michael runs the place with his girlfriend and parents, creating a warm, family-oriented atmosphere. Among their incredibly delicious hotpot offerings—which you cook yourself with their guidance—I highly recommend trying the beef noodle soup, cucumber salad, and fried rice. This spot is a must-add to your list of experiences!
